How to innovate in sport ? The ENGIE's event is dedicated to sports professionals and manager of sports structure and stadium. Round tables and workshops are organised with the participation of lecturers from Polytechnic school of Milan, sports leagues, political institutions, sports centers, sports media, clients and ENGIE's experts.
The workshop aimed to discuss about the Italian sports facilities that need to be
renewed and upgraded to European standards, by improving sports facilities and
to make them able to maximize the user experience.
Introduced by Olivier Jacquier, during the event the
data on the status of Italian stadiums in Italy were presented: the average age
of Italian stadiums, in fact, is 64 years in A League and as many as 68 for the
B League. In the last 10 years, at the country level, only € 150 million has
been spent in the restructuring and construction of new plants. Against the 15
billion euros invested at European level.
About this items, 13 relevant stakeholders
have expressed their considerations, as the president of the Institute
for Sports Credit, executives of national football teams, presidents of
basketball and volleyball league.
ENGIE has consolidate the image as a player with an innovative approach. A partner of sports facilities in order to make the most of them, rather than creating new ones. ENGIE want to make stadiums safe, flexible and sustainable through innovative solutions aimed at the environment, efficiency, improvement of technological level but also comfort, experience of use. ENGIE are rethinking the facilities for an increasingly demanding community of fans and sportsmen, and for the environment: Near Zero emission structure.
