This is the first time that ENGIE is a partner of the event, and the Group has suggested the following themes: energy efficiency and smart mobility. Guillemette Picard of ENGIE’s New Ventures Investment Fund will be part of the selection committee on that chooses winning projects on Sunday, December 13th.
The two previous editions were a success, and this startup weekend will include 130 participants from many backgrounds: students in engineering, design, business and computer programming as well as entrepreneurs and those who are simply curious. Over the course of three days they will imagine and create viable startup projects, which they will then defend in front of the selection committee.
Mentors, entrepreneurs, investors and lawyers will also be present throughout the weekend to coach them and help them set up their projects.
