The internet of things: Cisco, McAfee and Acer join the OIC consortium
With Intel, Samsung and Dell among its founders, the Open Interconnect Consortium is now even better thanks to the arrival of 27 members including Cisco, Acer, McAfee, Mediatek and SmartThings. Jong-Deok Choi, Deputy Director for Samsung's programming R&D, will become the consortium's president.
