Purpose of the call for projects:
To develop mini methanization technologies that are reliable, simple and cost-saving, from the design phase through operations.
Rewards and benefits:
Winners will receive expert assistance from the Group in co-developing the selected technology or technologies, and may be involved in future projects to be realized
Detailed description:
As the methanization industry expands with the backing of national-level actors, we have begun to get mixed feedback about the first units to be installed, especially for small, “mini-biogas” production units. This sector has great potential, and project leaders expecting solutions are becoming increasingly numerous.
To meet this growing demand, the Engie Group, through its subsidiary Cofely Ineo, is aiming to develop an innovative technology that meets the operating requirements for anaerobic digestion (temperature maintenance, pH regulation, etc.) while providing a solution that fits the scale of these projects: reduced construction and operating costs, simplicity and reliability.
This call for projects -launched by Cofely Ineo in collaboration with the Methanization Department at Engie and in partnership with Biogaz Vallée®, France’s biogas cluster- aims to identify opportunities for working together to develop mini-methanization technologies that are reliable, simple and inexpensive from their design to operation.
The “Innovative design of miniature methanization units“ call for projects is part of Engie’s comprehensive approach to supporting the development of renewable energy and particularly of the biogas industry.
Who is this call for projects for?
It is open to any developer of innovative digester technologies.
