The event is open to all EIC beneficiaries, accelerator and pathfinder. If you’re interested in these topics, take a chance, apply and compete for one of several prizes offered by our business partners.
The European Innovation Council (EIC) is giving all his-beneficiaries the opportunity to participate in the very first European ‘Greenathon’: an ideation hackathon that will digitally connect innovators funded by the EIC.
From 27 October to 30 October 2020, EIC community will address pressing key sustainability challenges proposed by large European corporate players like HenkelX Ventures, Saint-Gobain and with many more on the way.
The challenges proposed for the the Greenathon have to be :
- Specific: be very specific about the problem, use examples
- Feasible: pick a (hard) problem that in principle is feasible to fix in the short term. Don’t pick problems that require an entirely new regulatory system, outrageous budgets or technology that hasn’t been invented yet.
- Operational: choose a problem that you are experiencing in your operations today, not one that you may experience in the future. In other words, if a good solution is available, you would use it today.
