ENGIE is hosting a daylong event on the Smart City in partnership with the Agglomeration of Saint Malo, Rennes Métropole, and French Tech Rennes Saint Malo.

#SMART Visions will deal with the city of tomorrow, which will be connected, intelligent and low-impact. The event will include a mixture of thematic workshops and presentations from international actors to help participants learn about and imagine new, innovative ways of using the city and the future of citizenship. Many decision makers from Saint Malo and Rennes will be present at the event. Workshops and discussions will enable participants to get a better understanding of issues related to smart cities.


The program includes :
Conferences
10a.m.: Opening Roundtable: What kind of SMART City projects are for Saint-Malo?
2 p.m.: Sharing experiences from Singapore, Rennes, Saint-Malo, Namur- the SMART City worldwide

Workshops
# (Open) data: What’s it good for? What value does it add? Led by Simon Chignard, data expert and co-author of “Datanomics, new business models for data” (Fyp Editions, 2015)
# Privacy in Smart Cities led by Eric Peres, vice president of the CNIL
# Smart cities and countryside: energy positive areas, led by Charles-Edouard Delpierre (ENGIE) and Luc Philippe (Administrative Director, La Gacilly).

The event will also include pitches and technical demonstrations from startups working in the Smart City.
