Bonjour idée launches the Startup of the Year competition in partnership with GDF SUEZ

The Bonjour Idée competition aims to promote the ideas of 100 innovative French startups. After a public vote on bonjouridee.com, one of these businesses will be designated “Startup of the Year 2015”. At the ceremony, GDF SUEZ – a partner of the event – will discern a special prize. The winner will receive expert advice from GDF SUEZ and will be put in contact with Group subsidiaries.

Bonjour Idée is the first collaborative magazine dedicated to news and happenings from French startups, covering business ideas and analyzing new business trends. Cofounders Kossi Adzo and Kossi Ognamidoukou want to provide an overview of the French startup landscape and to give companies a forum for communicating their ideas. They will also provide startups with necessary resources and will let them use their services at a discount.

Bonjour Idée is participatory: project owners can publish their business ideas and submit them to public votes from internet users. With their opinions, the interactive magazine’s readers provide an initial form of market research and help the startup position itself and its product. With its participatory structure and the resources it provides, Bonjour Idée also makes it possible for project owners, investors and even future employees to meet.

By encouraging innovative projects in France and internationally, GDF SUEZ is a major actor in the startup ecosystem.
