Subject of the call for project

Vertuoz is launching a call for innovations from innovative companies startups and small businesses in

order to identify potential opportunities for collaboration to enrich the platform and its ecosystem by

providing:

- new, innovative services that are made possible by information collected within the platform.

These new services could enrich existing and developing applications or they could add new bricks to

the Vertuoz ecosystem.

We will offer applicants ENGIE’s specifically-tailored business advice and assistance, which will focus

on developing business partnerships with the Group:

- Winners will meet sector teams to discuss potential collaborations

- Together, we will explore business partnerships (experiments/Proof of Concept/Codevelopement

projects) that could take the shape of proposals for the platform, with a revenue model to be defined

after the fact

- Winners will enjoy inc

Description of the call for projects

Vertuoz is launching a call for innovations from innovative companies startups and small businesses in

order to identify potential opportunities for collaboration to enrich the platform and its ecosystem by

providing:

- new, innovative services that are made possible by information collected within the platform.

These new services could enrich existing and developing applications or they could add new bricks to

the Vertuoz ecosystem.

- new technological bricks that deal with issues beyond building energy management (ex. new

connected objects, etc.)

These innovations will be meant to:

- Meet the needs of stakeholders and building users (occupants, managers, decision makers,

owners, renters, employees, service providers, families, etc.)

- and/or to improve the user experience (by enriching or improving its ergonomics and design)



Our offer

We will offer applicants ENGIE’s specifically-tailored business advice and assistance, which will focus

on developing business partnerships with the Group:

- Winners will meet sector teams to discuss potential collaborations

- Together, we will explore business partnerships (experiments/Proof of Concept/Codevelopement

projects) that could take the shape of proposals for the platform, with a revenue model to be defined

after the fact

- Winners will enjoy increased visibility among the Group’s constituent business units and their

clients

The steps in the call for projects

- Launch of the call for projects on May 12th, with partnering incubators & technopoles

June 8th, midnight: End of the call for projects: 

- Week of June 15th: a “pitch” day will be held for chosen startups for a selection committee from

ENGIE and partnering incubators

- Second half of June: Announcement of the winners and individual meetings with them



Presentation of Vertuoz

ENGIE’s smart building subsidiary has developed Vertuoz, an interoperable services platform for

connected buildings and the related stakeholders (occupants, managers, decision makers, renters,

employees, service providers, etc.)

85,000 residences and 65,000 other buildings currently use this platform, including both the public and

private business sectors, apartment buildings and municipal authorities.

The Vertuoz Ecosystem

- Vertuoz Real Estate: from the Energy label to energy performance monitoring for a collection of buildings

- Vertuoz Habitat : Dividing up and individualizing natural gas fees for apartment buildings.

- Vertuoz Monitoring : hourly monitoring of the consumption of multiple energy sources across multiple sites to track for anomalies

- Vertuoz Impulse : breaking down the electrical load curve to identify sources of savings

- Vertuoz PV : monitoring of PV panels in real time in both € and in kWh.

- Vertuoz Elevators: monitoring functional status with reporting about availability, Public Utility Conventions for social housing

- Vertuoz Silver : Identification of behavioural shifts by measuring consumption to mitigate risks for seniors in precarious situations

• D’EFFI : Comprehensive tool for sustainably changing occupant behaviour by relying on the

local community to take action

- Vertuoz Analytics : BIG DATA brick that uses algorithms to offer predictive services and benchmarking

- Vertuoz Mob Elec : monitoring electric recharging stations and real time information for ANALYTICS users
