Subject of the call for project

Purpose of the call for projects:

ENGIE France Networks is seeking technical and technological solutions that allow us to create operational, commercial and economic synergies from energy network convergence (heating, cooling, electricity, gas, water, sanitation, etc.) at the district and urban scales.

Recovering and reusing end-energy, energy storage and exploiting the potential for network flexibility are three areas in which there are opportunities to integrate even more renewable and recovered energy sources by promoting economies of scale and shared infrastructure for networks located in the same geographical area.

Deadline for submitting applications: September 11th, 2017

Earnings and benefits

Description of the call for projects

Detailed description:

Heating and cooling networks can play a major role in helping cities and towns transition to renewable energies and position themselves as integrators of different energy solutions.

ENGIE France Networks helps your area make itself greener. By designing and developing solutions in the fields of local, diversified energy production and distribution (including renewable and recovered energy), we provide tangible, effective solutions for cutting greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality.

ENGIE France Networks operates heating and cooling networks in mainland France and Monaco, as well as electricity distribution networks in Polynesia, New Caledonia and Monaco. Our expertise and experience mean we can provide our customers - local authorities and public and private sector stakeholders alike - with sustainable development solutions covering energy and environmental efficiency, quality of service and supply, and cost control. Using diversified, local and renewable energy sources of energy allows us to make our efficient, virtuous and sustainable urban heating and cooling systems accessible to as many people as possible.

The climate and energy challenges that cities face are encouraging us to think about how to better integrate the various district-level energy solutions we offer to maximize the use of available local energies and increase the quality of the services we offer.

ENGIE France Networks is seeking technical and technological solutions that will allow us to achieve operational, commercial or economic synergies by combining aspects of different energy networks (heating, cooling, electricity, gas, water, sanitation, etc.) at the scale of an urban area.

If well aligned with ENGIE France Réseaux’s business model, it could lead to industrial and commercial partnerships.
