  • 11:00 – 11:30        Talk :  "Biogas and biomethane in a nutshell : paving the way towards a green future

    Speaker : Larissa Brito - Research Engineer - ENGIE Lab CRIGEN

    Dr. Larissa Brito has graduated in Process Engineering at INSA Toulouse in 2016, with an additional degree in Research of Physico-chemical Processes delivered by INP Toulouse. As part of her master thesis, she pursued a 6-month internship at IFP Energies Nouvelles, where she researched the performance of heterogeneous catalysts prepared for hydrotreating nitrogenated oil feedstocks. During her PhD studies at IFP Energies Nouvelles, she researched hydrocracking reaction mechanisms of Vacuum Gas Oil feedstock over bifunctional catalysts. Dr. Larissa Brito has joined the research team Biogas, Biomass and Waste Lab at Engie Lab Crigen since March 2020 and she has been working on catalytic methanation of syngas and CO2, biological methanation, on the development of anaerobic digestion in a local scale as well as on the deployment of green gas sector in Brazil.

  • 02:30 - 03:30     Round Table :  "COVID19 X Digital Transformation: When the health crisis accelerates digital transformation"

    The COVID19 crisis has prompted various ENGIE entities to develop new tools that allow workers on the ground to take fewer risks in the context of the pandemic. These digital tools will continue after the crisis, because they constitute real innovations that improve working conditions and worker safety, while often reducing costs. This is the case at ENGIE with the projects:

    - Virtual Reality and web mapping applications as an alternative in the COVID-19 pandemic implemented in the Brazil BU
    - No Life at Risk implemented in the MESCATA BU 
    - The Covid MasterClass and Quiz or how to keep the link during the confinement implemented at France BtoC
