The key objective for the stakeholders in the hydrogen sector is to ensure that the purity of hydrogen is certified throughout its cycle, from production up to distribution. The challenge of guaranteeing the purity of the hydrogen delivered to the end customer involves all the stakeholders in the value chain. To date, ISO standards have been used to create an first base of regulatory practices.
The Lab Crigen, one of the ENGIE Group's research centres, is positioning itself at the heart of the development of the H2 sector by enriching the existing expertise of its network of experts in order to make sure that the stakeholders in this sector control the purity of hydrogen.
Our team of experts is able to meet the specific needs of our customers. Our experience within European programmes (HyQuality, MetroHyVe2, MetHyTrucks) and as a member of standards committees (ISOTC197/WG27, WG28 and WG33) enables us to act and interpret the pure analyses carried out as effectively as possible. As well as certifying the purity of samples, our experts support our customers to solve any quality problems they may experience, such as surplus nitrogen or water content during the commissioning phase or after a maintenance period.
