LNG is a multicomponent cryogenic product, mainly composed of hydrocarbons and nitrogen. Its management requires specific expertise. Critical issues include LNG boil-off-gas (BOG), pressure, LNG quality, and storage safety.
Lab Crigen supports LNG actors worldwide by performing specifics studies on LNG onshore and offshore infrastructures (liquefaction plant, regasification terminals, LNG carriers). Our team of experts uses an in-house software called LNGMASTER to simulate and predict LNG behavior during key operations, such as loading, unloading, transfer, send-out, and transport. Lab Crigen offers its clients tailor-made studies along 4 axes: LNG aging and transportation, LNG quality and compliance, operations and maintenance impact on BOG management, stratifications and rollover.
With its experience and knowledge, Lab Crigen also aims to disseminate its expertise on LNG behavior during storage and operations in LNG infrastructures through -training sessions. The objective of these trainings is to understand key LNG phenomena: BOG management, aging, stratification and rollover, and to improve operations management. The training sessions can be conducted onsite or online and are dedicated to everyone involved at any level in LNG.
