Our aim is to make the energy market accessible to everyone,
EnergyScan is a web app accessible via an Internet browser, bringing together a considerable amount of data, presented in various forms, including dashboards, newsletters, podcasts and webinars. The data is compiled, analysed and commented on by a team of experts.
The way in which the data is presented can be customised by each user according to their geographical area or the markets in which they are interested.
Here’s an overview of the key features:
We are gradually integrating generative AI, which will enable us to enrich the user experience, in particular through natural language search, and gradually through a multilingual interface.
For our part, the use of generative AI gives us a better understanding of customer needs by analysing queries.
Our aim is to make the energy market accessible to everyone, initially to all professionals, and to educate them.
Our customers are extremely varied, some with a huge amount of expertise, others for whom energy is just a bill, but who still need to understand how tariffs and prices evolve, and what impact this can have on their bills.
We also have journalists, traders, consultants, buyers... across several geographies, since EnergyScan has already been rolled out in Europe and the United States, with a planned extension to Asia, Latin America and Australia.
EnergyScan is included for ENGIE customers with an active contract (supply or risk management).
For everybody else, it is invoiced via annual licences with several levels (Standard, Premium, Elite).
We offer an API service to Elite customers, enabling data to be integrated directly into their systems.
We have several aims:
We’ll be showing visitors live how the platform works, asking them what they want to know and then looking at the answers to their questions together in the app.
We’ve already done this kind of demonstration at energy fairs such as E-World and GasTech. Visitors are generally impressed by how easy it is to use and the depth of the results.
Our next challenge is to develop generative AI, particularly for multilingual access.
And then we’re going to continue to enrich the content of the app by opening up sections dedicated to other regions, such as Latin America, or other markets linked to the energy transition, such as biomethane and hydrogen.
Perhaps “How do you see EnergyScan evolving in the next 5 to 10 years?”
In 5 to 10 years’ time, we hope that EnergyScan will have become a universal tool for all ENGIE customers, both professional and private, offering them:
Visit the ENGIE stand (J39) at Porte de Versailles in Paris from 11 to 14 June to discover EnergyScan and other innovative solutions that make ENGIE the leader in energy transition.
