The “ENGIE Foundation x French Academy of Sciences Awards” aim to promote the role of women in research and engineering, highlight the most promising female scientific talent actively working towards the energy transition, and support young talent in the pursuit of a scientific or technological career.
The awards are in line with ENGIE’s purpose, which is to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral world, by reconciling performance and a positive impact on people and the planet more specifically in the following areas :
- Renewable energy generation
- Energy storage, flexibility management & energy systems integration
- Energy infrastructure & transport (power & molecules)
- Energy efficiency management
- Carbon capture, utilization and disposal
- Defossilization / decarbonization of industrial processes
- Sustainable mobility
- Sustainable energy transition
A total of 60,000 euros will support the research projects of three prizewinners, with 20,000 euros each.
