MetaNow is a solution for involving suppliers of methanisation inputs in a simple and transparent participatory mechanism to accelerate facility development.
The solution will not only improve risk management upstream of projects, but will also, in the short term, streamline exchanges between methanisation plants and suppliers of agricultural or industrial inputs.
At Vivatech, MetaNow will be presenting its first module for agricultural input suppliers, in the form of a mobile website or chatbot.
The team hopes to gather feedback and identify opportunities for exchanges with partners in the sector in order to enrich its roadmap and continue its deployment.
Our next steps are to roll out this first module in France and the UK, followed by the development of additional modules.
“What role did R&I, and the Innovation and Engagement team in particular, play in the project?”
Metanow was selected for ENGIE’s New Business Opportunities (NBO) programme, a rapid new business development initiative from the Innovation & Engagement team within R&I. This programme develops New Business Models in partnership with the GBUs, to meet their operational needs.
NBO projects are designed to create new revenue streams or cost reductions for ENGIE assets, support the Group’s strategic positioning and entry into emerging markets, and accelerate business development with use cases in key markets.
The NBO programme focuses on effective governance and fast and agile pace, and favours scaling of solutions that work and learning by doing.
Visit the ENGIE stand (J39) at Porte de Versailles in Paris from 11 to 14 June to discover Metanow and other innovative solutions that make ENGIE the leader in energy transition.
